A. You can hide your ReadingList@HKUL block on your Moodle course in Editing Mode, and make it visible when you have finished editing the list.


Certainly. Please contact the respective Subject Librarian. Upon receipt of the personal copy, we will add the citation to your course reading list and place the book on reserve.


Normally, a list of up to 20 items can be set up on ReadingList@HKUL within 5 working days. Students can then access the E-resources and view citations of the print materials on the list. If you wish to shorten the loan period of the print items to facilitate circulation, please let us know. We will transfer the items to course reserve. Processing of this transfer may take time depending on the item availability on the shelf.


ReadingList@HKUL is mobile-friendly and students can view the lists on either their desktop or mobile devices. Instructors can also edit the lists on their mobile device, although re-ordering sections or citations by drag-and-drop only works on desktop computers.


The library can build the ReadingList@HKUL for course instructors. Please contact the respective Subject Librarian. A list of up to 20 items can be set up within 5 working days.


Print course pack can be prepared for student purchase by compiling photocopies of licensed reading materials. This is produced by coordinating with Hong Kong Reprographic Rights Licensing Society Ltd (HKRRLS). Find out more.
