Introduction

ReadingList@HKUL enables easy access to course readings. You can reach it via HKU Moodle or as a public list. It provides a direct link to online resources such as books, journals articles and websites making it easier for students to navigate through their reading lists.

 

Reading List Services for instructors

As an instructor, you have two options:

  1. Set up the reading list yourself.
  2. Request the Libraries to set up the list for you. You can contact the respective Subject Librarian or fill out the Reading lists service form.

Please allow 10 working days for processing. 

If you would like the reading list ready at the start of the semester, submit your request by the following dates:

  • Semester 1 (2024-2025): 19 August 2024
  • Semester 2 (2024-2025): 6 January 2024

We do accept requests after this date, but cannot guarantee that all items will be available when the semester begins.

Physical materials (including books, DVDs, etc.) may take longer (an estimated 40 days) to arrive in the libraries.
