Check out the panel on the right. You can edit item info, add notes & tags, and connect related items in Zotero Library.
Under the "Notes" tab, click the "Add" button to add notes.
Under the "Related" tab, click the "Add" button to select the item that relates to the current one. Then, click "OK" to confirm the action.
