This year, the dates of the International Open Access (OA) Week are from 21 to 27 October 2024. The “International Open Access Week” is one of the major global advocacy events organized by SPARC in partnership with the Open Access Week Advisory Committee, which has been running for over 15 years. The event provided an opportunity for everyone in the community to exchange ideas, knowledge and inspirations on open science and open access.
Celebrating the OA Week 2024, the HKU Libraries will be organizing a workshop and launching a comprehensive guide on open science to advocate the concepts and support HKU researchers in adopting open research practices. In addition, the Master Challenge has been revamped with questions covering open science. If you would like to learn open science in a more interactive way, the Open Science Master Challenge is your choice!
