Welcome back! We are delighted to invite you to the Welcome Back Week@HKU Libraries, designed to acquaint you with the vast array of resources, services, and possibilities that our libraries provide.
Welcome Back Week
This event, tailored for both students embarking on their scholarly pursuits and returning students aiming to boost their research capabilities, is scheduled to span an entire week. Our objective is to equip you with the library tools to support in your academic journey.
Event: Come & Chat Booth
Date & Time: 16 – 19 January 2024, 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: Lobby, 2/F, Main Library
Activity 1: Install Library Startup Kits
Watch the Startup Kit Video Series and install the library tools to facilitate your research workflow.
If you have installed any of the library tools, you could redeem a gift (#) at our come and chat counter. Feel free to bring your laptops or devices to the booth, where we will be happy to assist you with any installation issues.
Activity 2: Test your knowledge at Find @HKUL Quiz
In addition, there will be a quiz designed to evaluate and strengthen your understanding of our library catalogue - Find@HKUL. This will be an excellent chance to refine your search abilities and utilize the library resources. Information about the online quiz can be found below:
