This is the 2nd series of “AI Literacy for U” that invites HKU staff and students to explore the exciting world of AI through hands-on experiences and live demonstrations. This series offers a guided “tasting” experience, allowing participants to interact with AI technologies across multiple domains—including chatbot creation, AI-powered analytics, game development, generative art, and AI model deployment.

Led by experienced speakers and librarians, this series blends interactive exercises with informative demonstrations, providing a structured opportunity to experience AI in action without the pressure of deep technical training.

• applications of GenAI in university learning contexts;

• practical techniques and real-life examples of using AI technologies to enhance learning and research experiences, with GenAI tools for literature search, text generation, image creation, slides generation and speech coaching; and
• advanced topics in AI model training and fine-tuning.
