Meet Jasper at Education Library

by Kendy Lau on 2019-04-23T12:00:00+08:00 in Education | 0 Comments

Join a Therapy Dog session with Jasper to relieve stress and anxiety from studies, assignments and teaching. In a group of 6 people each session, you can play and interact with Jasper, and enjoy his company in the Education Library.
It is well documented that therapy dogs can contribute to calmness and overall emotional well-being. Therapy dog programmes are being offered in many universities around the world, in libraries, university health services and student counselling units. It is hoped that these sessions will benefit HKU students and staff by encouraging less stress and anxiety by taking a break from their studies and teaching.
