“It would be appropriate to observe, here, that the paper used by Chopin is of twelve-staff and fourteen-staff format, both types measuring 216 x 286 mm. and both types without watermark, judging from the sample we have been able to check. The paper is ivory-while. Mostly single sheets are to be found, though there are a number of folios.” ~  Ferdinand Gajewski
