ORCID@HKUL: Scopus Author Profile

Scopus Author Profile

Scopus Author Profile

You are able to connect your Scopus Author profile to your ORCID profile in order to add publications into your ORCID profile. The Scopus Author profile is automatically generated for you once you have any publications available on Scopus or their databases. You can add your work indexed on your Scopus profile onto your ORCID profile through either the Scopus page or ORCID page:

On Scopus: Make a direct connection via “Connect to ORCID” on Scopus

On ORCID: Add your work via “Search & link” on ORCID

It is very important to note that publications can only be added from Scopus to ORCID, but information transfer from ORCID back to Scopus is not available.

Since your Scopus Author profile is automatically generated once your work has been published in journals covered by Scopus. If you have publications under different affiliations and variant names, there may be possibilities that multiple Scopus Author profiles have been created for you. You are recommended to always double check your profile(s) and merge any duplicated profiles under one unique ID to represent you, so as to ensure the accuracy of your research impact like citation counts and h-index. Please refer to our Scopus Author ID page for instructions on merging your Scopus profiles.
