B. Integrated Educational Activity: Experiential Workshop
“The Feeling That Can Be Seen”
Through 360° panoramic video/photos with the sharing of a person who is physically challenged, you will gain first-hand experience of how it feels like for living with a disability.

C. SEN’s Career Prospects – “People of Differences in Workplace”
Through sharing of real stories and demonstration of assistive technologies, participants can learn how SEN graduates can work effectively with dignity in workplace

D. Sand Art Workshop
Participants can try out simple drawings on the sand art boards under the guidance of Ms. Jessica Chiu, a local sand artist with visual impairment.

Jointly organized by The University of Hong Kong Libraries and SEN (Special Educational Needs) Support of CEDARS, the first university-wide SEN Day was held on 6 October 2021 (Wednesday) in the Digital Interactive Lab and Multi-purpose Area of the Main Library and via Zoom (hybrid mode). It aimed to raise awareness on SEN-related matter to the HKU community, including inclusive campus, breaking the social barrier and enhancing accessibility. Moreover, the SEN Day showcased the SEN services and special library facilities available at HKU.
