General Information

The One Button Studio (OBS) is a simplified video recording setup that can be used without any previous video production experience. The design of the studio allows you to create high-quality and polished video projects without having to know anything about lights and cameras. 

# Please use your personal FAT32 USB drive without DLP protection.

Eligible Users

The service is for current HKU staff and students only.

  • NO FOOD OR DRINKS WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • Tap your HKU Staff/Student Card on the reader to access the reserved room.
  • Use your personal USB drive without DLP protection to activate the equipment and save the data once the video recording is completed.
  • You should exercise respect and care in the use of the equipment.
  • Do not adjust or change the position, wiring or settings of the equipment without the permission of the library technician.
  • Only individuals involved in recording are allowed in the studio.
  • Library staff will carry out routine inspections of room activity.
