United Kingdom Law Reports: Finding Law Reports in Law Library

All primary materials (legislation, law reports and legal encyclopedias) are shelved on the 2/F of the Law Library, click here to see the floor plan.

Once you ascend the flight of stairs to the 2/F, the Law Report series are to your right. They are arranged by jurisdiction in a geographical sequence.  So you may need the class number to locate the set you need.

Hong Kong law reports are shelved separately at the corner between the two major

  reading areas.

To locate the call number for any set, check Find@HKUL

The system of publishing and citing law reports will be similar throughout the common law jurisdictions, including Hong Kong. Although the titles will be different, you will find just the same sort of publications in which to locate your cases.  For more information, see Sources of Hong Kong law.
