Participate in this online quiz to assess your proficiency in using online textbooks in the Platform. By completing a few questions, you may have a chance to win a prize.

Follow the simple steps below to participate:

Step 1: Create a Wiley account

  1. Visit the Libraries' homepage via https://lib.hku.hk/ and click on Electronic Resources
  2. Click on the letter “W” to find "Wiley digital textbooks" and log in with your HKU Portal account.
  3. At the Wiley digital textbooks platform, register a user account with your HKU email address.

Step 2: Check out a book on the platform and finish the online quiz via  https://bit.ly/QuizFeb24

Building an author profile is one of the major ways to consolidate scholarly output produced by researchers and raise their visibility among the scholarly communities, granting their work higher opportunities for being discovered and cited.

The University of Hong Kong Libraries and ORCID is co-organizing an online workshop regarding author profiling on ORCID, Scopus, and Publons for researchers, administrators and librarians of research institutions, funders, publishers, and associations in Asia-Pacific region. It will cover:

  • Introduction of researcher author profiling with ORCID, Scopus Author ID, and Publons
  • Demonstration of use cases at HKU Scholars Hub and DataHub

The workshop is scheduled as follows:

Date: 2nd March 2021 (Tuesday)

Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 noon
