Karen and her design
To help engage the creativity and perspective of our Library users, Libraries launched a student design competition in 2019. Several students applied their design talent to the challenge and proposed creative solutions for the New Arrivals Display. A panel of judges including our University Librarian, Deputy University Librarian, and representatives from the Architecture Faculty and the Estates Office, awarded Ms Karen Ho Ka Wing (HKU Master of Architecture) as the winner. Karen's design has been realized, created, and installed in the Main Library! (FOCUS October 2019)
