Coverage of ejournals is not displayed in Find@HKUL. Why?
Library staff are inputting the coverage information back into each ejournal record, as the information cannot be migrated to the new system. With over 132,000 ejournal subscriptions, we target to complete this task within four months’ time. If you need any assistance, please Ask-a-Librarian.
The publisher website prompts me to purchase the article. But, I know HKU Libraries subscribes to this e-journal. What should I do?
You can install the “Reload via HKUL” Bookmarklet. This will help the publisher identify your affiliation with HKU. Please see quick guide.
The full text link sends me to the journal homepage instead of to the article level. What should I do?
Some e-resources can only link to the journal level instead of the article level. So, please browse or search for the article from the journal or e-resource homepage.
I have exported my reading history from Dragon. But, the number of records exported is smaller than the number shown on top of the reading history. Why?
There could be two reasons:
- The number shown on top of the reading history includes HKALL items. However, the actual items shown on the list are HKU items only. As such, the number shown will not match the actual numbers displayed.
- Some HKU items may be withdrawn at the time when the reading list is exported.
